Love, Life and Premarital Sex – A Biblical Perspective

There is a four letter word that many seem to have lost by the wayside. Love would be that word. Try looking the word up in Webster's dictionary and you won't find it. You will find it in God's word with the true meaning, if you so choose. Premarital sex is running rampant especially these days it would seem. Try doing a Google search or go to Yahoo news and Foxnews.com. You will see how rampant this subject seems to be.
While meaningless sex would leave a person empty, love could leave a person feeling delight. Love doesn't consist of only sex.
If we seek God first he promises us delight. When we love Him first, he will fulfill our every desire of the heart (Psalm 37:4). Should we love and surrender to God, he will show us His will and it would be more then we could imagine and perfect. He is always faithful.
Love is a four letter word and here is another one, Life.
If we surrender completely to God he has a wonderful life waiting for us. Believe you can trust His plan. He makes better dreams for those who seek Him first. His dreams are more then we could ever think about in our own wildest dreams or even nightmares.
Here is another four letter word for you – Lord.
The Lord wants you to be delighted. God designed the Lord to be the perfect person in your life. If we make Him Lord we will be secure in knowing that He is in charge. We can trust Him. His design reaches the most private areas of the heart.
When we allow love, life and the Lord to infiltrate our lives then we have nothing to worry about. His plan for us is a wonderful prize and we can trust the Lord. Believe this and reference Psalm 37:5.
So what about premarital sex? God's word has spelled it out. His way is love, life and the Lord. This is all related to premarital sex amongst other things in our lives. God's word is true and he makes no mistakes. It is well worth the wait to meet that special someone and not engage in meaningless sex.

hi michelle,it would be great if everyone would listen, and abstain until they are in love, married is not one of my most favorite things! but at least in love, but kids don't seem to listen. adults don't seem to listen. i guess everybody has to make their own choice, and go through the consequences. thanks for sharing,best regards,sueThank you Sue,No not everyone listens. However, I do believe that marriage is a union between a man and a woman with God. I don't recall anywhere in the bible where it states that it must be a church ordained event. God is in charge not religion.God bless
