Time Banks, Pay It Forward And The Bible

I would like to make a deposit please. How much? Forty hours. Excuse me? Forty hours. Jesus commands us to give and not expect anything in return. To give in secret for that which we do in secret He will reward us. This is the best thing to experience.
Time Banks and Pay it forward. The way it once was and should still be right after doing something good for someone else in secret. This is my verbatim and not the precise way the Bible spells it out.
I can't say that I can validate the program, because I haven't tried it. The information I read on it sounds positive. Instead of paying for repairs and services with money that is borrowed or not afforded, Time Banks are offering a service for a service. You need a repair that takes an hour, they find the appropriate need and you in return give your service of an hour. If this proves to be real and successful, I would hope the whole world would turn back the hands of time and participate. I personally would be a part of this as I have found a great joy to being in service.
I also decided to look up some Bible versus to see quote on the topic of service. Another word for service is ministry.
My question for you today is, are you being of service to God and others or are you in service to just yourself? I am guilty of being in service to myself at times, and it was not as rewarding as being in service to others.
I would like to challenge you today to be of service to others and you will reap beautiful rewards that you would never have imagined. I can guarantee this from my personal experiences. Now go try it for yourself and see the difference it could make for others and yourself.
