According to the Associated Press, they are saying that we are nowhere close to an epidemic with the swine flu like we were three years ago with the bird flu. They were trying to paint a picture for us in case it became a global epidemic. It is ugly as it stands now, but it hasn't reached the calamity that the bird flu did.

My prayers and heart go out to those who have been or are yet to be infected and those that have died of such.

While reading and watching the news regarding the preparations we could take, I have to put my trust in God. One of the warnings is not to be around anyone coughing or sneezing. Well, there goes my whole family and friends. How would one tell if it is allergies, cold or the swine flu?

Since there is much worry over this outbreak I have a couple of suggestions:

1) Trust God as He already has the hairs on your head counted, and know that is Biblical prophecy.

2) Be prepared to the best of your ability, yet know it won't last forever.

The whole reason for this very short article is it will hopefully ease the minds of some people. God bless everyone and our prayers are with you.

Next time I start sneezing and get a fever... if I go a runnin' don't call me a chicken! And that's nothing to bawk about.

Love ya,
