THe Lord said I Had More Work - All I Want For Christmas

It has been over a year since I have posted any kind of article. I could give you several reasons, yet the one I will use the most is my health. I give all glory and praise that I am alive today and able to share what only Jesus could have done. However, I would like to start by thanking my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, husband Mark, my whole family and all of our friends around the world who have held me up in prayer. The power of prayer is an awesome tool of the Lord’s and He has allowed us to that power.

I will explain briefly what the last year has been like. I spent several times in the hospital with acute kidney failure, double pneumonia, brain infections and so on you get the point.      For being a type 1 diabetic for about 38 years now, I am blessed to be alive and much less with all my hands, toes, feet and otherwise, plus no dialysis and in comas.

This final trip to the hospital I hope will explain what I want for Christmas.

I hadn’t been feeling well for a week before the next hospital trip which was right before Halloween. Not that I missed much there. I had been running a fever of 101, aches and pains, high blood sugars, so I didn’t do anything but lay in bed waiting for it to pass.

Well it didn’t. The next thing I remember was waking up in ICU with all of these uncomfortable tubes everywhere you looked. Family members were there left and right. A few friends snuck in although there was an order for family only when I was in a coma and the sight was scary according to them all.

I had gone into a code blue and then that day came where all the family and doctors were to give my family the dreadful options of pulling the cord and if not how I would come home not the same person I was.

Before the meeting I woke from this coma and the meeting was never to have happened. Praise the Lord. Today at home I am still the same person building up her strength slowly.

For me personally the best part of all of this is what my husband told me. He wouldn’t lie to me about such a miracle. He had asked me several times while going in and out of it and the answer was always the same...”no”. Than at one point Mark saw the light of Jesus fill me and I woke up.           Again, he asked if I had seen Jesus. Only this time I said yes. Jesus told me that he was there for another lady and I still had work to do here. Mark checked with the nurses and there was indeed another lady Jesus took that night. I came home on November 11, 2011.

So when you ask me what I want for Christmas it is healing through the power of Christ. I would also like to travel and tell my testimony all over the country and wherever possible. The only thing that I can use as an excuse right now is income. I have $38.00 to spread for my whole family. That’s good though because this year they will all be about Christ and sentimental.

My other request would be that everyone would know Christ, the power of prayer and tongue.

God Bless and Merry Christmas to all.

Michelle, I am missing you when I don't see you nor Mark around in a while and I guess your health must be bothering you and Mark did make an appearance once or twice. So, we all wish you the BEST of EVERYTHING all year round.

Merry Christmas to you and family.

My Dearest Love,

I thank God for the extra time that he gave us with you from November 11th to Christmas Day. You did have more work to do and you finished it. You fought the good fight. I will always be so proud of your strength and character. But, now you are in heaven and although I miss you terribly I know you are in a better place. You are with our Lord now. No more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears for you. And your testimony, that you wanted to share with the world, will continue to be shared online and by me in sermons and articles for the rest of the days the Lord gives me in this world.

Rest with Jesus, Honey. I'll see you when He brings me home.

All my love,

Mark
